​A company appointed for waste transport works in the area of public houses was issued a compound fine by the Enforcement Unit, Belait District Office.

The company was found to be in violation of the Miscellaneous Offences Act, 2021, for throwing liquid that causes it to flow or fall into public places. The company was charged a compound fine amounting to $2,000 and was given a week to settle the fine.
